Jim Wilson is the founder of Browz Risk Services. With a background in ISO certification and compliance, he had an idea to expand compliance to include insurance, risk, safety performance, security, and other risk criteria. The business model was to give large organizations the opportunity to outsource supplier qualification and contractual compliance. Jim needed a technology vehicle to quickly and efficiently deploy the business—solutions provided through web-based technology.
The technology track all started nearly a decade ago when a handful of entrepreneurs and computer programmers had a great idea for a new web based technology solution. The company formed was Browz.com and the idea was a proprietary solution that enables the quick production of code to facilitate complex web server pages linked to complex data structures.
Soon, this small group positioned their technology solution to help companies streamline communication and manage documentation. Continuing the with the Browz name, they took the lead in identifying the complexities of corporate risk management and compliance as a potential fit; making Browz Service what it is today: a compliance solution that reduces costs and mitigates risk for suppliers and buyers.
Industry leaders in significant business sectors—such as power generation, chemical, mining, construction materials, and manufacturing—immediately saw the benefits of the Browz offering and engaged Browz to better mitigate risk and manage supplier compliance information.
Today, Browz continues to invest in leading edge technology, business processes, and qualified human resources to improve the buyer/supplier relationship and provide our clients with the best solution for their risk and compliance needs.
