Richard H. Brown
Former chairman of the Board and CEO of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Corporation from 1998 to 2003. Before his appointment at EDS, he served as CEO of Cable & Wireless (C&W) plc in London as a member of its board of directors. Brown became President and CEO of H&R Block, Inc. in 1995. Before joining H&R Block, Brown was CEO of Illinois Bell; he was named vice chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of Ameritech Corporation in 1993.
Mr. Brown is a member of the Board of Directors of DuPont, based in Wilmington, Delaware. Brown has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees from both Ohio University and James Madison University. He formerly served as a member of the Business Roundtable, the President’s Advisory Committee on Trade and Policy Negotiations, the U.S.-Japan Business Council; the French-American Business Council, and the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
Ryan Melkonian
Mr. Melkonian is the Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager of Melkonian Capital Management, LLC, a company he founded in 1998. Previously, Mr. Melkonian spent nine years at First Long Island Investors, LLC where he was a principal, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager with oversight of over $1 billion in assets.
From 1998 to 2002 he also served as Vice President of W.P. Stewart Asset Management, a leading money management firm with over $9 billion under management. Mr. Melkonian began his career as an analyst for Republic National Bank of New York. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Lon E. Henderson
Mr. Henderson serves as President and CEO of Soltis Investment Advisor. Mr. Henderson has a background in business management, portfolio asset management and private equity analysis and funding.
Mr. Henderson has been active in research, analysis and funding of various private equity projects including projects in the Financial Services, Energy, Telecommunications, and Real Estate industries.
Lee Caldwell
Mr. Caldwell is the sixteenth president of Dixie State College of Utah. He also served as CIO of the Indiana University System. He served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Imaging and Printing Systems at Hewlett-Packard, and as Director of Internet Technology Strategy and Vice President of Marketing for the IBM Corporation.
Mr. Caldwell earned a BA degree in business from Utah State University, did graduate work in Systems Management at the University of Southern California, earned a JD degree from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University. He was the first chairman of the advisory council of the Internet Society and served as co-chair of the developing countries committee and program chair for INet96 in Montreal, Canada. Mr. Caldwell started working on the Internet in 1981.
R. Bruce Merrell
Mr. Merrell is the Chief Executive Officer of Browz LLC. Previously Mr. Merrell acted as a consultant to T-Mobile USA in the development of the T-Mobile HotSpot venture. He was President, CEO and co-founder of Laptop Lane Ltd. (private offices in airports, “Peace, Quiet and a T-1 Line”), until its acquisition by SoftNet Systems (SOFN) in 2000.
He served as interim president and CEO of Oral Logic Inc., in the turnaround of this early-stage consumer products company. Prior to Oral Logic, he served as Chairman, President and CEO of Pacific Northern Oil Corporation, a multinational marketer of petroleum and petroleum related products. He has a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.
