Assessment Specialist

Assessment Specialist

Using in-depth knowledge of the BROWZ supply chain qualification and management service, this position is responsible for the accurate processing of supplier documentation in accordance with client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Perform supplier related data entry and verification in accordance with published procedures as assigned by the department. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entry and system rendered icons.
  • Apprise management of any production review situations that do not conform to published procedures.
  • Assist in researching data integrity problems as necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and assist with training others.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Proven track record in providing excellent customer service. 
  • Strong communications skills and detail oriented. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Basic PC skills including MS Office. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a year or more of college education in business field preferable. 
  • One year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supply Chain Specialist

Supply Chain Specialist

Using in-depth knowledge of the BROWZ supply chain qualification and managementservice, this position will manage the qualification information of suppliers by communicating via mail, telephone, or personally to help suppliers meet the requirements of their customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Responsible for explaining to the supplier the client’s compliance information and requirements via the telephone and other available electronic communications. 
  • Responsible for the ongoing relationship with suppliers and their compliance information.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that their information (“file”) is complete and correct.
  • Work directly with suppliers to collect compliance information and increase overall compliance percentages within the BROWZ Software.
  • Verify the icons shown in the BROWZ Software are correct following the review process.
  • Preview the compliance information for correctness and completeness prior to entry in the BROWZ Software by a Assessment Specialist.
  • Provide Suppliers with technical support in the use of the BROWZ Software.
  • Perform handoff to Assessment Specliast once the supplier file is complete.
  • Work with suppliers to renew expired compliance data.
  • Monitor and report to management the compliance “icon” status & completion status of all suppliers.
  • Coordinate supplier compliance escalations/solutions with the business development team.
  • Work with third parties on supplier’s behalf (e.g., insurance agents) when applicable, to collect compliance information.
  • Prepare documents for suppliers.
  • Assist and perform document reviews as volumes dictate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Proven track record in providing excellent customer service. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the BROWZ supply chain qualification and management model, including benefits of the BROWZ service to both clients and suppliers. 
  • Thorough knowledge of BROWZ operations’ policies, processes and procedures. 
  • Excellent PC skills including the ability to effectively use the various BROWZ systems.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
